CHRISTMAS

WHAT THE FUCK IS CHRISTMAS ALL ABOUT? WHAT THE FUCK DOES IT MEAN? IS IT ANOTHER OF THOSE CORPORATE BUSSINES WAYS TO GET ASS HOLES RICHER THAN THEY ALREADY ARE? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS STUPID ASS SOCIETY? AFTER “THATNKSGIVING DAY” PEOPLE WERE TRIPPING AND PUSHING AND MANY TIME INJURING PEOPLE JUST TO SAVE 35 CENTS. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? KNOW I AM SORRY IF I AM OFFENDING ANYONE WITH MY PROFANITY; BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? LOOK AT YOURSELVES. TOYS ARE TOYS. THEY ARE ONLY MATERIALS. DO SOMETHING WITH ALL THOSE DOLLARS YOU ARE USING. NEVERTHELESS, SOME OF YOU WILL STILL BE IGNORANT ENOUGH TO BUY THOSE NEW SHOES THAT YOU HAVE HAD YOUR EYE ON FOR QUITE A WHILE. YOU KNOW. DON’T WORRY ABOUT THAT LITTLE KID THAT HAS LOST FINGERS MAKING YOUR BRAND NEW SHOES. GO AHEAD BUY 150 DOLLAR SHOES WHILE THAT CHILD MAKES 15 CENTS A DAY. NOW AGAIN I DON’T MEAN TO OFFEND ANY ONE WITH THESE WORDS AND I’M NOT SOME STUPID ASS HOLE TRYING TO GET YOU TO SPONSER SOME ANEREXIC CHILD IN SOUTH AMERICA OR AFRICA OR ANY OTHER STUPID LITTLE KID. IF THEY WANT BETTER LIVES, THEY SHOULD LEARN HOW TO MANIPULATE THEIR OWN FUCKED UP GOVERNMENT. ANY WAYS AS I WAS SAYING CHRISTMAS HAS NO MEANING. WELL IT DOESN’T TO ME ANYMORE.

School Stuff

4) What are your feelings about your academic career in light of knowing your graduation requirements?

I don't know what the question means, but I think it means that if I will ever get the letter grade I want. But I guess a would want to be a Millitary leader of some sort.

9-11

No. This isn't a day to remember. Shit, many people already forgot of what happened on Septmber 11. Yeah, its sad that all those people died. But in the end no one really gave a damb about them. Shit, I mean come on no one expected a "terroristic" attack until it happened. Every one thought (and still think) that the U.S. is a very powerful nation. But it isn't. You've seen the latest news, haven't you. You saw how unprepare this "nation" was in New Orleans. Now everyone is pointing fingers at each other. Where is all that unity and "power" that the U.S. is supposed to have? Every one blames the president. And do you know why? Becase I don't. It is extremely difficult to take the blame, and yet it is easier to point fingers. So I just don't understand where the "power" and unity of the U.S. is? Can you tell me?

One more week

Next week I go back to school. It sucks.

What's the deal with stealing school materials?

Why would you steal school materials? Why would write graffiti on school walls. I just don't understand. Don't you have some thing to do in school. What about studying, getting ready for finals. There isn't any reason for stealing things that you can easily buy. I just don't get it.

Another day another place

Man this sucks ass the people here are really boring. They don't do anything fun to here. Their parties are really boring too. The people here also don't know when to give some one there space. They breath don't your neck every minute. O.K I think that is all I am going to write for today.

It is Wednesday

It is Wednesday. I have been here for seven (7) days and I am getting really bored of this same bull sh#$. All my parents want to do is visit their relatives. We don't even go out to the Plaza. Yesterday it was kind of fun. I went to this place called Chalma. Over there there were missionaries that would do inhuman things, (like hitting them selves), instead of praying rosaries. It was kind of cool also because it is said that the religious figure of Jesus Christ has made many miracles there. And well I do believe that it is true because for one I am a Catholic, and also because my parents have told me many stories of how people have gone there and have prayed to him to protect there family or to save them from deadly illnesses and God has heard their cries. It is very moving. Any ways I don't really want to talk to much about religion on the web because it is a very controversial issue. So getting back to this trip. I have learned many things from my few days here. The issue of religion here is quite big. I like Mexico a lot. I wish I could stay longer but I cant because I have to go to school. I will soon write again.

Orale Holmes

Man this is cool. I get to miss school to come to Mexico with my family. It is some times boring because I have to do the Home Work my teachers have have given me. It is my first Monday here its kind of fun some times. I get to hang out with my family and all. I have an older sister that could not come with us this time because she had to go to London to finish her university studies. Any ways its been three days since I have left my house and school. I am already getting kind of home sick. But, its cool I get to miss school. Do not really care much about my friends either. Well that is enough writing for today. Man this sucks now I have to do my home work again.

Mr. Steve Barr

Last week, Mr. Steve Barr taught your Ethnic Studies class. Answer these questions:
a. What did Mr. Barr talk about?
Mr. Steve Barr talked about how his experience was in high school. He also talked about how he came up with the idea of creating a charter high school.

b. What did you find the most interesting? Why?
I don’t think I found any of his speech interesting. But I did find it interesting that he could relate all the stuff he went through to our own experience in high school.

c. What do you think about Mr. Barr?
I think he is pretty cool because he is a person who can encourage us by giving us motives to come to school and become successful in life.

d. What did Mr. Barr teach you about leadership and making change in your
life? In this school? In this community? In this world?
I guess he taught us that it is better to keep trying and not to give up. Also to do something to change the way we think and to give motives to some one else become great in life.

The Pope has passed away.

THE POPE HAS PASSED AWAY. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS DELICATE SITUATION? MANY PEOPLE ARE VERY SENTIMENTILE AT THIS OCCURENCE. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THOSE PEOPLE? IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOUR NOT CATHLIC, CHRISTIAN, MUSLIM OR OF OTHER RELIGION. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

"There's a Hole in My Sidewalk" by Portia Nelson

I
I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost...I am helpless.
It isn't my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

II
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don't see it.
I fall in again.
I can't believe I am in the same place.
But, it isn't my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.

III
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in. It's a habit.
My eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault. I get out immediately.

IV
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

V
I walk down another street.
QUESTIONS:1) Do you think the author really fell into holes in the sidewalk? What do you think the "holes" in this poem are a metaphor for? What kinds of "holes" have you fallen into in your life?
I DON’T THINK SHE REALLY FELL INTO A HOLE EVEN THOUGH THAT COULD HAPPEN. I THINK THE HOLES IN THE METAPHORE IN THE POEM ARE JUST HOLES OF DISPARE IN SOME ONES LIFE. I GUESS BESIDES THE TRENCHES IN PAINTBALL, I HAVE FALLEN INTO HOLES OF DISPARE IN AN EDUACTIONAL MATTER.
2) When I first read this poem, I thought of what's happening to your grades. Some of you seem to be stuck in the hole #2: your grades go down; you pretend you don't see it; you have "F"s again; you can't believe you're in the same place; you say it isn't your fault; it takes you forever to get out or you don't get out at all. What hole are you in right now? Why do you think so?
I WAS IN A HOLE LIKE A WEEK AGO BUT IT SEEMS AS IF THOUGH I’M GETTING OUT AND HAVE STARTED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE HOLES ON THE SIDEWALK.
3) In terms of your grades, what do you have to do to reach step V and not fall into the hole of letting your grades drop? If you have already reached step V, how did you get there; and what advice can you give to the students who are stilling falling into "holes"?

MAN, I DON’T THINK I’M THERE YET BUT I DO BELIVE THAT I AM GETTING THERE. I DON’T THINK I CAN ADVICE ANY BODY YET BECAUSE I STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO.

Terri Schiavo

TERRI SCHIAVO SADLY PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS SITUATION? SHOULD THE FEEDING TUBE HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM TERRI SCHIAVO? WHAT DO YOU THINK? WAS IT RIGHT OR WAS IT WRONG TO LET HER FAMISH UNTIL DEATH? WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?

Tuesday, March 15, 2005

Have you ever thought how death will be?

The fact of dying is kind of cool. I have always wondered how it would be to die. I guess it would all depend on the way you would die. I mean if you die a gruesome death it wouldn’t be cool. Now if you die in your sleep now that would suck. Why? It is because you would never be able to know if you are dead or not. If I were to die I would like to die in an exploding plane. I would like to die that way because I believe that by dying in an explosion you would feel the east amount of pain. In an explosion you might just feel a horrible stinging and that would be all. That is why I would like to die that way. Not only would you die with the slightest pain but you would stay in the wind, in the sky forever looking at the world.

Luis and Chris

I don't really care much about what happens to Luis or Chris, but I do have to say that they knew the consequences and yet they still did it. Bringing a B.B. gun to school is just stupid. The fact that they had an opportunity of not doing such stupidity was immense. They had a choice of doing something awful and leaving the B.B. guns away. They had a great opportunity and yet they did not take it.

I will respond to Sandra

You asked in many of your comments why I am so critical in many of my blogspot. Well I will just write a few of the reasons why I think the way I do.

1) I talk so gruesomely about the government because of all the outrages facts that make up the government. The pilgrims came to this land (and now is called, “America") for religion freedom rights. The pledge of allegiance clearly says, "...one nation under god...” Now there are people trying to change the pledge for an alliance with the U.S. I mean what is up with that.

2) This country was to be a country without political supremacy. Now what do we end up with? George W. Bush. Now what is that?

3) I hate this government and always will. Well that is what I think.

Luis Rodrigez

  1. Luis Rodriguez said he joined a gang because he wanted power? Do you think Luis has power now? Why or why not?
  2. I don’t think Luis Rodriguez has power any more because he is old and now he knows what his limits are in the sense of his own will of power. Luis might have had power but it was an unmoral kind of power. Luis had no power when he was in the gang. If he had power he wouldn’t have listened to others. If Luis had had power he would have been able to create his own crew. Luis was never an idle of power and to me he isn’t either today.
  1. Do you think Luis is a leader? Why or why not?
  2. I don’t believe that Luis I a leader because of the fact that I was not convinced that he has change his motive in live. To me a leader is some one that listens to others and tries to take their advice. Luis Rodriguez did not show that when we were visiting at his Café. Luis Rodriguez owns a Café called “Tia Chuchas” I believe. I don’t know Luis that well so I don’t believe that he is a leader.

Valentines Day

Valentines Day is a big marketing scam. Valentines Day is all about caring for your loved one. It is a day to celebrate. So yeah put your comments and suggestions.

Me Questioning my Leader

I could not get an interview with my leader.

Tuesday, February 08, 2005

1) What is a leader? What is the difference between a good leader and a bad leader?

  • A leader is some one that makes you feel bad about yourself. A leader does not understand your motives. A leader only wants you to do what they want you to do. Teachers are an example of leaders; they only want you to learn what they are teaching you. But then again the school’s administration leads them and they have to follow. There is no such thing as a good leader. There are only leaders and followers.
  • There are leaders in everything in life. Religion=GOD, Streets=Gangs, Jobs=Bosses, School=Teachers who=Principles who=School Administrations who=Government who=Money.

2) When and where have you been a leader? Describe the moment you were a leader.

  • I have never been a leader and hope not to be one, because if you are one people will depend on you and if something goes wrong you will be the one that gets blamed. And if you are blamed you will be looked as a bad leader.

3) In your life, who do you consider a leader? Why?

  • I only consider my father and my mother as leaders because they truly know what is best for me. I trust my parents because they are my counselors in life. With out them I would probably be a gang banger in some gang. I might hang out with some gang bangers but thanks to my parents I am not one.

Danny Trejo speaks to Animo Venice student body

1. What did Danny Trejo talk about yesterday?

Danny was talking about been a gang banger and how it can ruin ones life. He talked about staying in school. and how he turned his life.

2. Of all the things he said, what connected with you the most? Why?

I guess the fact that he was able to change his life. He said he did it by not using drugs anymore and helping other people.

3. What did you learn from his talk? How can you take what he leaned and apply to your life, this school, your home, and your community?

I guess whata stuck on was the fact that everyone can change their lives if they want to.

Falcons at Eagles

Michael Vick leads the Falcons in a difficult game against the Eagles for the NFC title who do you think is going to win. In the other hand Donovan McNabb has gotten the Eagles to the NFC title game for four consecutive years. This game will not be an easy one for the Falcons but we shall see Sunday 23 at 3:00 p.m. Good luck on your bets. I’ve already put 20 bucks into the Atlanta Falcons.

Baton Rouge

First Civil Rights Bus Boycott
African-American boycotted buses for eight days. In 1953 80% of bus drivers were black. many people forgot about boycott. Some guy named Jemison got involved in the movement when watching black people were standing in the bus after a long days work. it was against the law to sit in the front isles with whites. The Baton Rouge City Council agreed to open all seats on the bus except for the two front seats. Before the compromise white bus drivers went on strike for 4 days to fight the first compromise, which was to let blacks fill up the back half and the front have for whites on a first come first serve bases. After the boycott the segregation in buses in Baton Rouge ended.

President George Bush, Yes or No?

I don’t have any thing against George Bush. But what really bugs me is hearing people say in school that call George Bush stupid, and well I ask and ask them, “Why they call George Bush stupid?” And all they bring up is the War on Iraq. Those people that support President George Bush go ahead “4 More Years!” I really don’t care and if you’re going to call President George Bush stupid bring up some important facts. Don’t just bring up the War on Iraq. Man, leave those people alone. It’s you and your stupid ideas. “So what are you going to bring up?” I posted a Blog titled “Memories” talking about what I would remember about my generation. Someone commented by writing this, “If it’s anything bad on Bush I agree.” And I write to this person, “If you are going to support someone, you should at least know what the person is either writing or talking about.” But hey if you want to talk bad about President George Bush go ahead, I’m not stopping you. If you support President George Bush than go ahead keep cheering “4 More Years” I’m not stopping you either.
But as for me I don’t care. I don’t support President George Bush or any one else. All I am is a member of a broken society.

Memories

What will you remember about your generation? What will you hold as important to you?

Ex: 9/11, the war on Iraq, George Bush.

There has been nothing of importance so far in the generation I am living in. so I have nothing to remember. And 9/11 was tragic but not memorable. Iraq, just leave them alone, and George Dumb-Ass Bush. Who the hell cares?

back 2 school

Man have you ever noticed that just when you are getting comfortable on Christmas break you have to go back to school. I just went paintball shooting yesterday and my body still aches. However, screw it I am coming to school anyways because it is worth it. I get to learn new things and stuff.
